Portland Wedding Photographer | Langdon Farms

This beautiful wedding was full of beautiful color, details, and fun.

Everything, from getting ready, to the reception, was held at
Langdon Farms Golf Club in Wilsonville, Oregon.

A big "thank you" goes out to my friend, Azure, of Azure Marie Photography for being my
second shooter on this wedding. She's always in the right place at the right time.

Salem Photographer | 10 mile project.

The concept is simple. Drive 10 miles from your house or your place
of employment and take a photo. Preferably an interesting one. Well, I
drove 10 miles and ended up in a boring suburban neighborhood, so I took
a photo of the most interesting thing I could find. Maybe next time
I won't wait until the last minute!

Now, CLICK HERE to check out the 10 mile blog post

What to Wear | Blue and Yellow.

While there may be snow in the ground in many parts of the country, that is not the case here in the Willamette Valley! The sun keeps making an appearance and the flowers are blooming, which means it is time to book your spring portraits and start thinking about outfits. Here is some inspiration for you, featuring a blue and yellow palette. All of these pieces are available at gap.com and are perfect for family photos!

Salem Family Photographer | One Awesome Family.

Yes, this family really is this gorgeous.

You know what else? They are also awesome!

They're funny, fun, and full of love.
The kids were probably the most cooperative I've ever worked with and I
really felt like I could have taken photos of them all day.

Seriously, how cute is this child?
I wanted to steal her!
She's also a total ham, which just made her that much more adorable.

Can I just say that I loved how the mom styled her family for this session? I'm a big fan of yellow, blue, and gray and she did such a great job coordinating them, without being too matchy-matchy.

They were oozing with personality.

I started cracking up, when I turned around to see that the younger two had climbed inside of the chest we'd just used. They were so cute!

We can't forget about the salamander that they found! It was with us for most of the session, either in someone's hand, or near us on the ground. They'd carry it around and then set it down while we took photos.
