Art show for kids and adults!

As many know I help set up and participate in a monthly art show called Emerge.

This month we are inviting kids to join in the fun and enter their own art!

Children may submit up to 3 pieces for free and adults may submit up to 6 pieces for $5.

There is no commission taken on any art sold at the Emerge show.

That's a big family!

Well, when you break it down this family of 16 is really an extended family made up of smaller families.

I met the Smelser family back in 6th grade when I was in the same class as Kim. We spent a lot of time together riding around on scooters, jumping on trampolines, having sleepovers, etc.

The couple that started it all...Marilyn & Steve...aka Mom & Dad...aka Grandma & Grandpa.

This is Tracy (the youngest of the kids I grew up with) with her husband and their son.

Birthday Girl!

I photographed Sophia recently with her family, but we got a few shots of her recently on her birthday. Sophia's mom has her house decorated with accents of zebra print so I thought some shots that matched would be cute.

Meet the baby, Logan, a happy little 2 year old.

I asked him to sit on this little chest and do you see what he did with his hands?

I swear, I did not ask him to do that! He's just a natural born model.

Such a happy little guy!

Meet Austin, a spunky little 5 year old.

As you can see, he also has the sparkly eyes and adorable curls!

Meet Jordyn, a super cool 8 year old.

Freckles!

Jordyn has the coolest eye color. They matched his sweater perfectly, but they change color to match what he's wearing...different shades of green, hazel and brown. As you can see, he too has the sparkle!
